About Me
You might be wondering why a single woman would want to adopt a child. I have a tremendous desire to become a mother – and have wanted that for a number of years. I absolutely adore and cherish children, but the timing wasn’t right while I was married.

I would love to remarry, but my first desire is to welcome a child into my arms, and surround him or her with the love that I have saved up inside of me for so long. When I think of parenthood, I look forward to play time in my nearby park, taking walks with a stroller on the bike path, reading stories, and even the night feedings. Mostly, I dream of holding, cuddling and loving a child. I come from a large family – 5 brothers and sisters, so there are lots of aunties and uncles.

I was raised in a small desert town in California, and my father still lives there. I have 14 nephews and nieces that I have spent many hours babysitting and going on family vacations with. Most of my brothers and sisters live in Southern California and within an hours drive from me. Being near to most of them keeps up close and in touch.   Some of my brothers and sisters

Education & Career

I have always worked in the medical field. Caring for people has always been something that I was drawn to. I worked as a nurse for 10 years, and then moved on to the business world. Now I work in the information systems area.

In my current position as senior director, I have a lot of freedom in my schedule, which means I can come in late if I need to attend a parent/teacher conference, or leave early to attend soccer practice. I live only 15 minutes away from my job, which will allow maximum time to spend with my child.

I plan to take off quite a bit of time when I become a mother, and use my options for flex time to the fullest. Education is important to me, and has provided the foundation I needed to be successful. I want to provide my child with the same opportunities, and plan to take an active role in my child’s schooling and extra-curricular activities.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, and a Masters in Business Administration.
